Low Budget Orchestra – The second best
Es geht auch mit doppelter Untertreibung. Glücklicherweise ist hier nicht nur der Bandname von geringem Budget geprägt, sondern die Musik ist trotz des vielsagenden Albumtitels "The second best" keine zweitbeste Verwertung. Dafür gibt man sich im Preis recht spendabel, denn das Digipack dieser finnischen Formation ist schon für lächerliche 7 Euro zu haben. Der hehre Anspruch der Band ist es, für wenig Geld qualitativ hochwertige Musik zu bieten. Auch mal ein interessanter Ansatz.
Was bekommt man auf "The second best" nun auf die Lauscher? Ganz einfach: recht powervollen Sinfonik / Progressive Rock, der nicht unbedingt nur nach gestern schielt, sondern dazu noch eine Schippe erdigen, straighten Rock und aktuellere Sounds beisteuert. So schwankt man zwischen moderatem Hard und Sinfonik Rock, baut flächige Sounds mit spacigem Charakter ein, überfordert aber den Hörer keineswegs mit zu ausufernden Breaks und inhaltlichen Wechseln. In erster Linie sind die meist 4-5 minütigen Songs von der Gitarre bestimmt und vom Aufbau eher direkt und grundsolide als zu verzwirbelt gewählt.
Aufgrund des eher songdienlichen, weit weniger instrumental ausufernden Ansatzes, würden dem Material an einigen Stellen sicherlich etwas Gesang bzw. energetischere Soloausflüge gut tun. So ist das Low Budget Orchestra bei Leibe kein minderwertiger Ramsch, aber am etwas zu hoch gegriffenen, oben erwähnten Anspruch muss man noch etwas feilen.

Thus one varies between moderate hard and Sinfonik skirt, inserts laminar sounds with a spacigem character, does not make excessive demands of however the listener by any means also to getting out of control BREAK and contentwise changes. Primarily those are usually 4-5 of minütigen song of the guitar certainly and of the structure rather directly and solid as too verzwirbelt selected. Due to the rather songdienlichen, far fewer instrument valleys getting out of control beginning, something singing and/or more energetic solo trips would surely do to the material in some places well. Like that the Low budget Orchestra is not with body inferior junk, but at the somewhat too highly seized, above mentioned requirement one must file some more.
