Ecco quella che si può definire, se vogliamo, una orchestra a basso costo, in tutti i sensi. Uno solo è il musicista che ne fa parte, il finlandese Mikko Muranen, che suona un po' di tutto ma non si sa bene cosa, visto che nelle note di copertina non è elencata la strumentazione impiegata… ma sicuramente si tratterà di strumenti economici, visto il nome del progetto! Basso è anche il costo del CD in esame che giungerà a casa dell'ascoltatore per soli 7 euro, spese postali comprese, ovunque nel mondo vi troviate. Insomma, in questo periodo di crisi finanziaria, ci si arrangia un po' anche in ambito musicale… ma vediamo appunto se questi sette euro possono essere ben spesi. Quello che possiamo apprezzare è un muro abbastanza omogeneo di suoni che viaggiano in maniera scorrevole, ma senza farci accorgere troppo dei cambiamenti, che pure avvengono, nello spartito. Come un viaggio in bicicletta sulla Pianura Padana, pedaliamo scorrevolmente senza incontrare pendenze, così l'orecchio scivola su un tappeto di tastieroni dal feeling elettronico anni Ottanta, che viaggia sicuro su un binario costruito da una batteria, probabilmente programmata, affidabile e sicuro, e comunque adeguato a questo scenario sonoro. L'ambito potrebbe essere in parte quello dello space rock, con riferimenti agli Ozric Tentacles, ma anche con sprazzi di Tangerine Dream ed una buona dose di rock chitarristico alla Vai, visto che di chitarra qui se ne sente abbastanza e anzi, proprio quest'ultima è quella che contribuisce a dare un minimo di movimento e varietà. Le 8 tracce strumentali che compongono questo album si basano su ripetizioni, su dinamiche compatte, su poche idee che Mikko cerca di sfruttare però al meglio… come in un film di terza categoria girato tutto in un grosso studio ma in cui si cerca con qualche trucchetto di dare la percezione che l'ambientazione in qualche modo cambi. Il risultato è dignitoso, ascoltabile, vi è una cura particolare riposta nella scelta delle melodie, anche se queste sono sempre elementari e distesissime ed in sostanza non si può parlare di un disco riuscito male. A questo punto però Mikko dovrebbe fare secondo me il salto definitivo di qualità ed innestare su questa specie di base musicale qualche elemento che la renda più interessante, come ad esempio delle parti cantate o l'aggiunta di qualche strumento suonato da componenti esterni… ma voi potreste obiettare che il budget non sarebbe più così basso in questo caso… si tratta di scelte ovviamente e ci si può comunque accontentare di lasciare tutto così come è: un album che funziona abbastanza come one-man-project ma che forse con una produzione da colossal non renderebbe altrettanto bene.

Low it is also the cost of the CD under investigation that it will reach house dell' listener for single 7 euros, expenses mails comprised them, anywhere in the world finds itself. Insomma, in this period of crisis financial institution, a po' manages us; also in musical within... but we see exactly if these seven euro can be very expenses. What we can appreciate is a enough homogenous wall of sounds that travel in flowing way, but without it makes us to notice too much of the changes, than also they happen, in the score. Like a travel in bicycle on the Po Plain, pedaliamo flowing without to meet slopes, thus l' ear slips on a carpet of tastieroni from feeling electronic years Eighty, that it travels sure on a railroad constructed from a battery, programmed, reliable and probably sure, and however adapted to this sonorous scene. L' within could be partially that one of the space rock, with references to the Ozric Tentacles, but also with splashes of Tangerine Dream and a good dose of rock chitarristico to Vai, since of guitar it is felt some here enough and indeed, own quest' last it is that which contributes to giving to a minimum of movement and variety. The 8 traces orchestrate them that they compose these egg whites are based on repetitions, compact dynamics, little ideas that Mikko tries to take advantage of at best but... as in a turned film of third category all in a large study but in which it is attempted with some trucchetto of giving the perception that l' acclimatization in some way changes. The result is dignitoso, ascoltabile, there is a cure detail riposta in the choice of the melodie, even if these are always elementary and most extended and in short it cannot be spoken badly about a successful disc. To this point but Mikko it would have to second make the definitive jump me of quality and to graft on this species of musical base some element that renders it more interesting, as as an example of the parts sung or l' addition of some instrument played from external members... but you could object that the budget would not be more thus low in this case... draft of chosen obviously and can to us however to please to leave all thus like is: egg whites that work enough like one-man-project perhaps but that with a production from colossal it would not render equally well.
