Low Budget Orchestra est l'oeuvre du musicien Mikko Muranen. C'est lui qui compose et joue de tous les instruments. Il a déjà un album à son actif, à savoir "Extraordinary" sorti en 2006. Il assure aussi la diffusion de sa musique et vend les CDs lui-même. D'où le nom de Low Budget Orchestra.
Ce nouvel album est avant tout un opus instrumental. Mikko ne chante donc pas. Il y a malgré tout des introductions parlées sur les différents titres, histoire de planter le décor, un peu à la manière d'un Vangelis. Beaucoup de choses sont réalisées à partir de synthétiseurs. Malgré tout, les guitares sont "naturelles" et apportent un plus indéniable à l'ensemble souvent trop marqué par un côté synthétique, la batterie notamment. Ces guitares agressives relèvent l'ensemble, leurs riffs sont puissants, heavy même. C'est grâce à elles que ce disque prend toute sa valeur. Elles ont un petit quelque chose qui nous rappelle Ayreon.
Pour autant, cet album n'est absolument pas à classer parmi le métal. Il est bien progressif, mélodique aussi, et les guitares sont souvent heavy, mais l'ensemble est assez aérien du côté des arrangements claviers. Ceux-ci nous font plutôt penser aux travaux de Tangerine Dream ou Gandalf. Ajoutez à cela une petite touche Mike Oldfield.
Un des meilleurs moments de cet opus est ce "Statemate" très inspiré, avec une section rythmique au groove puissant et une guitare virevoltante. Un bon conseil, écoutez-le avant de juger l'album.
Ce second opus de Low Budget Orchestra, un projet venu tout droit de la Finlande, fait la synthèse entre rock planant et progressif aux tons heavy. Pas de doute, on apprécie son écoute, même s'il ne nous marque pas au fer. Il faut dire qu'il est seulement instrumental. Un chanteur pourrait sans doute apporter un plus à l'ensemble. Peut-être qu'un jour...

This new album is before a whole instrumental opus. Mikko thus does not sing. There is despite everything the introductions spoken on the various titles, history to plant the decoration, a little with the manner d' Vangelis. Many things are carried out starting from synthetizers. Despite everything, the guitars are " naturelles" and bring more undeniable to l' often too marked together by a synthetic side, the battery in particular. These aggressive guitars raise l' together, their fronts are powerful, heavy even. C' is thanks to them that this disc takes all its value. They have small something which points out Ayreon to us.
For as much, this album n' is not absolutely to classify among metal. It is quite progressive, melody also, and the guitars are often heavy, but l' together side of arrangements keyboards is rather air. Those rather make us think of work of Tangerine Dream or Gandalf. Add to that a small key Mike Oldfield.
One of the best moments of this opus is this " Statemate" very inspired, with a rhythm section with the powerful groove and a circling guitar. A good council, listen to it before judging l' album.
This second opus of Low Budget Orchestra, a project come straight of Finland, makes the synthesis between rock'n'roll planing and progressive with let us tons heavy. No the doubt, one appreciates his listening, even s' it does not mark us with iron. Qu' should be said; it is only instrumental. A singer could undoubtedly bring more to l' together. Perhaps qu' one day...
