Low Budget Orchestra - The Second Best
Der finnische Multi-Instrumentalist Mikko Muranen, Kopf und einziger Musiker des 'Low Budget Orchestras' hat mal wieder seine kreative Ader spielen lassen und beglückt den Liebhaber des instrumentalen Progs mit weiteren 8 Songs auf seiner neuen CD 'The Second Best'. Sein Erstlingswerk 'Extraordinary' von 2006 war ja schon richtig gut. Aber 'The Second Best' setzt noch einen drauf. Herrliche Gitarren über Keyboard-Teppich, tolle, treibende Rhythmus-Arbeit. So stellt man sich modernen instrumentalen Prog vor. Und immer ein Händchen für einen Hauch von Melodie, die einem dann nicht mehr aus dem Kopf geht. Und auch 'The Second Best' erinnert ein bißchen an 'Liquid Tension Experiment', und das heißt ja schon viel.
Wer die erste CD von Mikko Muranen nach meiner Review schon gekauft hat, wird bestimmt sofort die neue Scheibe haben wollen. Und auch 'The Second Best' ist über die Homepage von Mikko Muranen für schlappe 7 Euro (!!) zu bestellen. Auf der Page einfach auf 'News' klicken, dann ein bißchen runterscrollen (auf 8. November 2008) und dort nach 'amazingly low price' suchen. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Vor allem weil auch die Produktion richtig fett gelungen ist. Freunde der instrumentalen Musik MÜSSEN das Teil haben. Alle anderen können auf der Homepage ein paar Soundfiles anhören und sich überzeugen lassen.

On the PAGE simply on ' News' click, then a little runterscrollen (on 8 November 2008) and there after ' amazingly low price' search. Is worthwhile oneself in any case. Above all because also production succeeded correctly fat. Friends of the instrumentalen music HAVING the part to have. All different can listen to on the homepage a few sound files and be able to be convinced.
