LOW BUDGET ORCHESTRA ‘THE SECOND BEST’

Although the bandname is LOW BUDGET ORCHESTRA, there’s nothing low budget about the band’s 2nd CD ‘The second best’. It’s not really a band actually, because everything has been done by one man only, the Finnish multi-instrumentalist MIKKO MURANEN.
He recorded 8 tunes, which musically are pure (instrumental) Progressive Rock with 80s influences as some of the songs are uptempo 80s inspired Symphonic AOR based. Sounding like an instrumental mix of IQ, IT BITES and ASIA, this is quite an enjoyable CD that actually could sound even better with some crystal clear vocals on it.
